Eddie Howe: 'Bournemouth won't underestimate Sunderland'

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says that his side will not show any complacency when they face out-of-form Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has said that his team will not underestimate Sunderland in their Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats make the long trip south to face the Cherries without a league win this season, but Howe has admitted that he is wary of becoming the first team to suffer defeat against the bottom-placed side.

The 38-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We are coming up against a very experienced manager with a good set of players, so there will be no underestimating for us, it is going to be a tough game.

"I think this game is about how we perform. Our home form's been very good and our last couple of home performances have been right up there.

"Sunderland will win at some point this season, we just don't want it to be against us."

Bournemouth go into the match having registered 10 points from their first five league games at the Vitality Stadium.
