Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe believes that his side should have won their match against Watford.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that Bournemouth "deserved to win" following his side's 1-1 draw with Watford.

Harry Arter's screamer was cancelled out by Craig Cathcart's late equaliser but Howe was not satisfied with the draw.

The Cherries boss told Sky Sports News: "I can't remember Artur having to do too much. We came under a little bit more pressure once we had taken the lead but I didn't see it coming.

"I thought we defended very well, restricted the spaces and for, me, deserved to win."

Howe takes his Bournemouth side to Cardiff City on Tuesday in the Capital One Cup.
