Goals from Glenn Murray and Odion Ighalo have ensured that Bournemouth and Watford go into half time level in their Premier League clash this afternoon.

The hosts started the match confidently, dominating possession and creating the game's first chance as Matt Ritchie found Murray at the far post, but the former Crystal Palace man's free header went over the bar.

Bournemouth continued to control the game, as a Marc Pugh tested Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes with a low shot after some neat build-up play.

The hosts took a deserved lead on 28 minutes, as Ritchie found Murray with a cross, before the striker headed past Gomes on his full debut for the Cherries.

Watford struggled to create any chances in the first half, but were gifted a goal just before the break as Cherries keeper Artur Boruc misplaced a pass straight to Ighalo, who fired past the Polish international to level the scores.
