Both sides will be hoping for the win that will breathe some life into their starts to the new season, but we can see this one finishing as a draw. After the sides could not be separated on either occasion in 2020-21, this one could go the same way. An entertaining score draw is a likely outcome.

Newly promoted VfL Bochum welcome last-placed Hertha Berlin in Sunday's Bundesliga action at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion.
The hosts have made a fairly positive return to the top flight at the beginning of the new campaign, whilst the visitors continue to suffer at the wrong end of the table after a poor 2020-21 season.

This could be a tight match between two similarly matched sides tipped to struggle at the wrong end of the table. Hertha would usually be expected to be the stronger of the two but their poor start, combined with the lack of home advantage and absent first-teamers, means a draw is a likely outcome.

The hosts have picked up just a single point under their new manager, whilst their visitors have actually drawn each of their opening three matches in the Bundesliga.

Although Bielefeld have made themselves difficult to beat and Gladbach are playing nowhere near their best football currently, the hosts should still possess too much quality for their visitors. If they are to fight it out for the European places this season, these are the games they need to be winning for sure. It will be tough, but we think they will just edge out their opponents here.
