Mario Goetze to stay at Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund star Mario Goetze will remain with the club next season, according to his agent.

Reports from England had claimed that Manchester United and Juventus had made enquiries regarding the 19-year-old's availability.

The reports had allegedly been backed up by comments from Dirk Hebel, the CEO of SportsTotal who represent Goetze. However, Volker Struth has now rejected the suggestion that approaches have been made for his client.

"The reports from England are not true," Struth told Bild.

"This newspaper has not talked with my colleague, Dirk Hebel. The most important thing now is for Mario to get fit again.

"When it all boils down to it, he will play next season with Borussia [Dortmund]."

Goetze - who is currently out of action with a hip injury - is contracted to the German champions until 2014.
