Team News: Mario Gotze still missing for Borussia Dortmund

Mario Gotze is still missing for Borussia Dortmund, which means Ilkay Gundogan starts behind Robert Lewandowski against Werder Bremen.

Departing Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze is still not fit enough to make the squad, as coach Jurgen Klopp has named a side without the German sensation.

There is also no place in the XI for Jakub Blaszczykowski as Kevin Grosskreutz starts on the wing with Ilkay Gundogan and Nuri Sahin starting in midfield.

For Wolfsburg, Ivica Olic keeps his place up front but Ivan Perisic comes into the starting lineup at the expense of Marcel Schafer.

Wolfsburg: Benaglio; Rodriguez, Knoche, Naldo, Hasebe; Polak, Medojevic; Perisic, Diego, Vieirinha; Olic

Dortmund: Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Santana, Hummels, Schmelzer; Bender, Sahin; Grosskreutz, Gundogan, Reus; Lewandowski
