Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is pleased with his side's clinical finishing during Wednesday's 4-1 win over Ajax in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is pleased with the "clinical" edge that his side showed in their 4-1 victory over Ajax in the Champions League.

The German club were emphatic winners in Amsterdam on Wednesday night as they made it through to the last 16 of the competition.

"We scored goals today that we didn't score last season, despite already having the quality on board then," Klopp told reporters.

"Apart from talent, you also need to have a clinical scoring factor in your team. Although they are still all quite young, the boys have developed a lot."

Dortmund will go into their final group game against Manchester City on December 4 three points clear of Real Madrid at the top of Group D.
