Peter Odemwingie 'to join Bolton Wanderers after training with club'

Peter Odemwingie is reportedly on the verge of joining Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old, who was released by Stoke City at the end of last season, has been training with the League One club.

According to The Mirror, Odemwingie underwent a medical this week and is expected to sign a short-term deal with the Trotters.

The Nigeria international has plenty of experience in English football having played for West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City as well as Stoke.
