Fiorentina sign Marcos Alonso

Fiorentina have completed the signing of Spanish full-back Marcos Alonso from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old, whose Trotters contract was due to expire this month, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Alonso moved to the Reebok Stadium from Real Madrid in July 2010.

He made 46 first-team appearances during his time in England.
