Bolton Wanderers close to signing Gary Madine?

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of Gary Madine.

The 24-year-old, who was recently released by fellow Championship club Sheffield Wednesday, had been the subject of interest from Birmingham City.

However, the striker has turned down advances from the Blues in favour of joining up with Neil Lennon's squad, according to the Bolton News.

Madine spent part of last season on loan with both Coventry City and Blackpool.
