Dougie Freedman: 'Marc Tierney could return at end of March'

Tierney close to full fitness

Marc Tierney could return to the Bolton Wanderers side at the end of the month, manager Dougie Freedman has confirmed.

The defender, a summer signing from Norwich City, suffered a broken leg in September in the 1-1 draw against Yeovil Town.

"Marc is out there running with us and he might be back playing by the end of the month," Freedman told the Bolton News.

The Trotters, who are 18th in the Championship, play Leeds United this afternoon.
