Bolton Wanderers fans have voted to establish the club's first Supporters' Trust.
At a meeting held at the Macron Stadium on Wednesday evening, around a thousand fans voted overwhelmingly in favour of setting up the Trust after a two-and-a-half hour discussion.
Bolton currently find themselves rock bottom of the Championship amid financial difficulties threatening the future of the club.
Owner Eddie Jones has withdrawn all financial support as he seeks a buyer for the side, which has around £170m in debts and faces a winding-up order from HMRC if it fails to pay a £2m tax bill due later this month.
Wanderers are also subject of a transfer embargo for failing to submit their accounts on time.
