Adam Bogdan studied Wayne Rooney penalties

Bolton Wanderers keeper Adam Bogdan has revealed that he studied Wayne Rooney's penalty attempts ahead of denying the Manchester United striker from the spot on Saturday.

Rooney was awarded a penalty in the 21st minute of United's 3-0 win but could not convert the chance.

"We watch all the games so I knew where he put his last couple," Bogdan said.

"But it is a feeling, I tried to guess right and I did."

Rooney has missed four of his last eight penalty attempts.
