Ream dreams of starting cup role

Bolton Wanderers defender Tim Ream has said that he is eager to start against Millwall in the FA Cup fifth round this afternoon.

Ream, whose switch from New York Red Bulls was finalised over a fortnight ago, will be in contention to make his much-anticipated debut when the Trotters travel to the Den this weekend.

"It's exciting to be part of the gameday activities," he told the club's official site.

"It will be nice if I can make the bench and get on the field, but I'm hoping for more than that as I'd like to get a start.

"If we win the game we can take that into the following weekend against Chelsea and get on a roll."

Ream, who was the 18th overall selection in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, made 58 appearances for the New York outfit during his time with the club.
