Jaime Valdes and Nicola Sansone score for Parma in their 2-1 comeback win against Bologna away from home in Serie A.

Parma have come from behind to defeat Bologna 2-1 away from home in Serie A.

The Derby dell'Emilia at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara witnessed a lively start, with Alessandro Diamanti's free kick flying just over the bar and then Massimo Gobbi clearing Manolo Gabbiadini's tap-in just in time.

Nicola Sansone and Jonathan Biabiany came close for Parma in the first half.

However, it was hosts Bologna who broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Frederik Sorensen smashed home a rebound that had come off the Parma bar.

Two minutes, though, it was all square as Jaime Valdes fired in from long range.

Then in the 66th minute Parma scored what eventually proved to be the winner when Sansone volleyed home Gobbi's cross

Bologna, though, pressed on for the equaliser and Diamanti was unlucky not to score on two occasions, the second of which saw his free kick strike the Parma post.
