Blackpool sign Dutch winger Marvin Zeegelaar

Championship leaders Blackpool have confirmed that they have secured the services of Marvin Zeegelaar on a loan deal.

The 23-year-old, who has signed on from Turkish side Elazigspor, will spend the next six months at Bloomfield Road before the deal is reviewed.

The Amsterdam-born winger started his career with his hometown club Ajax, but he made just five appearances in all competitions for the Godenzonen.

From there he joined Spanish outfit Espanyol in 2011, before linking up with Elazigspor a year later.

The deal, which the club have confirmed was concluded two minutes before last night's 11pm deadline, is subject to international clearance.
