Kirk Broadfoot has revealed that he is looking forward to a 'new chapter in his career' after he completed a move to Blackpool.
The 28-year-old has joined Blackpool after leaving Rangers on a free transfer last week, and although Broadfoot admitted he was disappointed to leave Rangers, he was delighted to be given the chance to play in England.
Broadfoot told BBC Radio Lancashire: "It's a new chapter in my career and one that I am looking forward to. Something I've always wanted to do is play down South.
"It's a sad day to leave Rangers because it was always a dream to play for them.
"But, Blackpool has got something special about it. It seems to have this aura about it. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves here."
Broadfoot has signed a one-year contract at Bloomfield Road.
