Blackpool complete David Perkins signing

Blackpool have completed the signing of Barnsley midfielder David Perkins on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old, who becomes Paul Ince's first addition during the January transfer window, has signed an 18-month contract at Bloomfield Road.

Perkins leaves Barnsley having played 100 games for the Tykes, with 25 appearances coming during the first half of the current campaign.

Barnsley host Blackpool on Saturday, but Perkins is unable to make his debut against his former club.
