Roman Bednar completes Blackpool switch

Roman Bednar leaves West Bromwich Albion on a free transfer to join Championship side Blackpool.

Roman Bednar has finalised his move from West Bromwich Albion to Blackpool.

The Czech Republic international has signed a contract with the Seasiders until the end of the season.

"Roman has been unable to break into the first team this season due to the fierce competition for places that we have in the forward positions and I think this move suits all parties," said West Brom sporting director Dan Ashworth.

"Roman has remained hugely popular with the supporters and I'm sure they will all join me in wishing him every success at Blackpool."

Bednar spent four-and-a-half years at the Hawthorns.
