Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Middlesbrough and Blackpool.

Middlesbrough got their Championship campaign up and running with last week's win at Charlton Athletic, but face a tough test against Blackpool on Saturday.

Paul Ince's side have a 100% record in the league this season, seeing off Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley in their opening fixtures.

Boro goalkeeper Jason Steele faces a late fitness test after injuring his ankle in the win over Charlton, while Grant Leadbitter is expected to shrug off a knock he picked up during the same match.

Meanwhile, Blackpool are without the services of the talismanic Thomas Ince, who is serving the second of a two-game suspension.

Both teams ended last season on 59 points, but Blackpool's superior goal difference saw them take 15th place.

Recent form

Boro: LLW
Blackpool: WLW

Boro: Steele; Parnaby, Woodgate, Williams, Friend; Leadbitter, Varga, Whitehead; Emnes, Ledesma, Jutkiewicz

Sports Mole says: 1-1
