Blackpool's Thomas Ince banned for two games after accepting FA charge

Ince receives two-match ban

Blackpool attacker Thomas Ince has been hit with a two-match ban after accepting the Football Association's charge of misconduct.

The England Under-21 international was charged by the English governing body due to an incident that was not seen by match officials during Blackpool's 1-0 defeat to Preston North End in the League Cup.

A statement from the FA said: "Blackpool's Thomas Ince has been suspended for two games with immediate effect after he accepted an FA charge of using an offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive gesture towards a match official."

The gesture was caught on video, prompting the FA to take action.
