Ince backs Chopra to succeed

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has stated his belief that Michael Chopra will make the most of his chance at Bloomfield Road.

The 29-year-old striker has failed to score in nine appearances since joining the club from Ipswich Town during the summer.

However, Ince believes that Chopra will find his best form once he is match fit.

"Chops came here and will openly admit he wasn't fit enough. This is what people don't really understand," Ince told the Blackpool Gazette.

"When you sign players late who haven't been playing, they get a move and haven't done any pre-season. Chops has been working really hard to get himself up to a level where he needs to be. He's getting there, but he's got a way to go."

Blackpool currently sit fourth in the Championship table.
