Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is confident that young winger Tom Ince will remain at Bloomfield Road this summer.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has expressed his desire to keep winger Tom Ince at the club.

Ince scored twice in Blackpool's 6-0 drubbing of Ipswich Town this afternoon, and is thought to be on the radar of a number of Premier League teams.

However, Holloway believes that the 20-year-old's father, former Manchester United and Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince, could be instrumental in keeping him at Bloomfield Road.

"He took his goals terrifically well and he's come on leaps and bounds for us over the past year. The transfer deadline doesn't bother me because he's got his dad who understands what is best for him," said Holloway.

"He knows that Tom needs games to develop and he's at a very good place at Blackpool to do that. I had a conversation with his dad and he wants his boy to stay here.

"When we brought him in I was asked to nurture him and to look after him and that's something I'm grateful for."

Blackpool's win puts them top of the Championship table, having won their opening three league games for the first time since 1991.
