Keith Andrews having Ipswich Town medical

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews has undergone a medical ahead of a loan move to Ipswich Town.

Should both parties agree terms then the 30-year-old is expected to enter a deal to bring him to Portman Road until January.

Andrews's club Blackburn are believed to be the outfit that Ipswich manager Paul Jewell accused of not answering their phone last week.

The Republic of Ireland international joined Rovers in 2008 from MK Dons.
