Mauro Formica denied loan move

Blackburn Rovers striker Mauro Formica has been denied a loan move back to former club Newell's Old Boys in Argentina.

The 23-year-old recently revealed that he wants to return to his homeland to be closer to his family.

However, Rovers will only sell the £4m-rated forward in a permanent deal.

Bursaspor, Trabzonspor and Lokomotiv Moscow are all thought to be interested in Formica.
