Blackburn Rovers target former West Ham United defender Jordan Spence?

Blackburn Rovers are reportedly considering a move for former West Ham United defender Jordan Spence.

The 24-year-old is currently a free agent after seeing his contract at Upton Park expire earlier this summer.

Spence is currently training with Rovers in the hope of landing a permanent deal.

While a number of clubs are thought to be keen on Spence, Blackburn are leading the chase for his signature, according to Sky Sports News.

The Championship side return to pre-season action on Wednesday when they face Bury.
