Blackburn Rovers owners may block Zenden move

The owners of Blackburn Rovers are likely to block a potential move for Holland international Bolo Zenden.

Manager Steve Kean had admitted that he was interested in signing the former Liverpool and Chelsea winger, after the player impressed during a trial at the club last week.

However, Rovers' Indian owners are reluctant to fund any short-term deals and may not permit the move, according to The Sun.

Zenden made 29 appearances for Sunderland last season.
