Blackburn agree fee for Monaco’s Mongongu

Blackburn Rovers have agreed a price for AC Monaco defender Cedric Mongongu, reports suggest.

The Congolese international still needs to discuss personal terms for the deal, which is estimated to be worth around £2.5m.

The 22-year-old’s contract with the club, who were relegated from Ligue 1 last season, runs to 2013.

Mongongu has also been linked with moves to West Brom, Marseilles and Stoke.
