Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Reading

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash at Ewood Park between Blackburn Rovers and Reading.

Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer will be relieved to have striker Jordan Rhodes in contention after he suffered an injury on international duty with Scotland.

Rhodes was forced to return to Ewood Park with an ankle problem, but after being cleared of serious injury, he could feature against the Royals.

Rovers will be looking to hit back from their heavy defeat away at Brighton & Hove Albion, with Dickson Etuhu under consideration to start in midfield.

Reading have failed to hit the heights of their early-season form over the past month, securing just one victory in their last six outings.

That has seen them fall to sixth position in the Championship table, and boss Nigel Adkins will be looking to improve on an away record that has brought just two triumphs in seven attempts.

Sports Mole says: 1-2
