Chief executive Shebby Singh tells Blackburn Rovers supporters that changes will be made at the club in the near future.

Blackburn Rovers chief executive Shebby Singh has promised that "decisive decisions and actions" will be implemented at the club over the coming weeks.

Henning Berg's side are currently on a run of form that has seen them win just once in their last eight outings.

Speaking after their latest match - a 4-1 home defeat to Cardiff City on Friday night - Singh insisted that changes will be made to ensure that the team rediscovers the winning form that they produced earlier in the season.

"After a 4-1 home defeat and a performance and a result like that it is inevitable there was going to be a post mortem, after 21 games as well," Singh told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "We discussed and deliberated things, myself, Henning, Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew and they were serious and intense discussions where every subject was talked about.

"Everything from under performing players, to unhappy players to backroom, management and coaching staff. Things had to be debated and everything is now very clear, now we know the direction we are heading in and what decisions have to be taken.

"Decisive decisions and actions were needed and they will be taken, I just ask fans to respect our wishes for a bit of time to bring them into fruition."

Rovers are currently 13th in the Championship table.
