Berg appointed Blackburn boss?

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly secured Henning Berg as the club's new manager and will unveil the Norwegian coach in a press conference tomorrow.

The 43-year-old emerged as the favourite to take the reins at Ewood Park following the departure of Steve Kean.

It is understood that Berg has agreed a three-year deal at the club and will take charge of the Championship side's training sessions immediately, according to BBC Sport.

Berg used to play for the former Premier League outfit and helped the Lancashire side clinch the league title in 1995.
