Joaquin will not celebrate against Valencia

Real Betis winger Joaquin says that will not celebrate if he scores against his former club Valencia at the weekend.

Real Betis winger Joaquin has revealed that he will not celebrate should he score against his former side Valencia tomorrow.

The Spanish winger spent five seasons at the Mestalla after joining the club from Betis in 2006, and Joaquin admitted that he would avoid celebrating as a show of respect to the club and the fans.

The 34-year-old told Spanish radio station Onda Cero: "Going back to Valencia is always special.

"People have a lot of love for me, and my wife still travels to Valencia. I was there five years and I loved it. If I score I will never celebrate because it's a way of showing respect and affection for the club and fans."

Joaquin returned to Real Betis from Fiorentina last season having spent the first six seasons of his career with the Seville club.
