Chuli pleased to see Ruben Castro return

Chuli says that it is "great news" that Real Betis teammate Ruben Castro is nearing a first-team return.

Real Betis striker Chuli has admitted that it is "great news" that Ruben Castro is nearing a first-team return for the Spanish outfit.

Castro, who has been the club's top scorer in each of the last two seasons, has managed just two appearances in the last four months due to a succession of injuries.

However, it is understood that the experienced forward could be in line for a return after the international break.

"It's great news. I was talking with him yesterday and he's feeling fine. This encourages me to improve, I'm certain that he will help us and give us many things. He's a very important footballer for the whole team," Chuli told reporters at a press conference.

Betis currently sit bottom of La Liga.
