Jorge Jesus backs Benfica to respond

Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has backed his players to respond positively following their first-leg defeat to Fenerbahce in the Europa League semi-finals.

The Portuguese side went down 1-0 in Turkey on Thursday night thanks to Egemen Korkaz's second-half goal at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

"In Lisbon, everything will be different," Jesus told reporters. "We still have another game so we remain hopeful of going through.

"Fenerbahce were much better than us tonight but, like I say, it will be different in Lisbon."

Benfica welcome Fenerbahce to the Stadium of Light for the return leg on May 2.
