Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has admitted that he is attracted by the prospect of moving to outside the Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old has just two years left on his current deal at the Allianz Arena, and is unsure of his future plans due to competition for places at the Champions League holders.
Having witnessed international teammate Mesut Ozil's recent transfer to Arsenal, Kroos believes that he could be a success should he leave Bavaria.
"There have been no negotiations," Kroos told Bild. "That's why I don't have an answer to it right now. One thing is clear, I can imagine a lot of things. Let's wait and see.
"Abroad the estimation for German players has risen enormously. If now three, four young German players make the switch, similar fees could be paid.
"That's a sign of quality - often those are young players, who have not reached the end of their development."
Kroos has 36 caps for Germany.
