Bayern Munich sign Kingsley Coman on loan from Juventus

Juventus forward Kingsley Coman signs a two-year loan deal with German champions Bayern Munich for a fee of £5m.

Bayern Munich have signed France Under-21 international striker Kingsley Coman from Juventus on a two-year loan deal.

The 19-year-old forward joined the Italian champions from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014 but has moved to the Bundesliga winners for a fee of €7m (£5m), in a deal which includes the right to make the transfer permanent for €21m (£15m) at any time until May 2017.

Bayern sports director Matthias Sammer told reporters: "Kingsley Coman is one of the biggest talents in European football, so we are delighted we have been able to sign him for Bayern.

"Kingsley is quick, technically skilled and an attack-minded player. Hopefully we will benefit from having him at the club."

Coman made 20 appearances for Juve last season in all competitions, but the Italian club's manager Massimiliano Allegri told reporters that the player wanted to leave the club.

"Coman wanted to go, I think it is a good transfer operation," he said. "He played a little last season and it's only right that he moves on if he didn't feel ready to fight for his place here.

"If he does well in future, it will also be thanks to Juventus."

Coman has become the second player to move to Bayern from Juventus this summer after Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.
