Bayern become latest club to join race for Haaland?

Bayern Munich have reportedly joined several top European clubs in the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.

The 19-year-old is top scorer with seven goals in this season's Champions League, having scored four times on his debut in the competition against Genk.

Haaland's tally on a domestic level is just as remarkable, with the youngster netting 19 goals from 15 games in Austria so far this term.

According to Kicker, Bayern have been admirers of Haaland since the striker was at Molde and will now launch an approach to sign him next summer.

Haaland, who recently revealed that his alarm clock is the Champions League anthem, is said to be valued at around £85m.

It is claimed that Manchester United are leading the race for Haaland, while other top clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid remain intent on keeping a close eye on the Norwegian.
