Felix Magath is happy to stay out of football in order to spend more time with his family.

Former Bayern Munich coach Felix Magath has admitted that he has no plan to return to football and instead wants to dedicate his time to his family.

Magath, who has also coached Schalke 04, said that he wanted another job after leaving Wolfsburg last season, but has since started to enjoy the time off as he approaches 60.

"As time goes by, I'm no longer so sure that I really want to return," he told Welt. "When I left Wolfsburg, I wanted to come back to coaching after a certain time.

"I have been involved in football all my life, playing and coaching was my passion, but the question now is whether I really want to leave my family, who live in Munich, again.

"So the question is: am I stupid enough to do it all again? It's not like I'm missing anything."

Magath won the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg in 2009.
