Pep Guardiola demands reaction from players

Pep Guardiola hopes that his players can respond with a victory over Hamburger SV.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has urged his players to respond to their defeat to Manchester City with a Bundesliga win over Hamburger SV on Saturday.

Guardiola said that being well clear at the top of the league after the first half of the season would set his side up well for January onwards.

"The season doesn't end in November or December," he told Bundesliga.com. "Tomorrow is our last home game and we have to get the three points for our domestic ambitions and for our preparations for Morocco.

"We started well, but dropped off a bit in the final 20 minutes. Sometimes, it's easier to maintain your concentration following a defeat. I'm curious to see our reaction after the City game, but I'm hoping for the best."

Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga, four points clear of Bayer Leverkusen.
