Bayern Munich rule out appointing Mauricio Pochettino?

Bayern Munich have reportedly ruled out the prospect of appointing Mauricio Pochettino as the club's next permanent manager.

The Argentine was relieved of his duties at Spurs last week following five years at the club, with Jose Mourinho coming in as his permanent replacement.

Bayern, however, remain on the lookout for a permanent boss following the club's decision to sack Niko Kovac earlier this month.

According to Goal.com, Bayern do not consider Pochettino to be a candidate, with the latter likely to take a break from management until the summer at least.

Having overseen four consecutive wins for Bayern, interim coach Hansi Flick will reportedly remain as manager until the end of the season.

It is claimed that Ralf Rangnick and Erik ten Hag are being lined up as the two top candidates for the position.
