Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is keen to extend his contract with the German club, according to his agent Uli Ferber.
The 26-year-old has scored 35 goals in 37 games for Bayern this season, to cement himself as one of the best strikers in world football.
Gomez's contract expires in 2013, but Ferber has confirmed that the German international wants to remain in Munich.
"Mario is very happy in Munich. That is why we have never been involved with other clubs. There is therefore no objection to a contract extension – we have no time constraints," Ferber told Sport Bild.
Bayern currently occupy second place in the Bundesliga.
