Spanish midfielder Javi Martinez has returned to first-team training with Bayern Munich following a long period on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old has not featured for the German outfit since rupturing cruciate ligaments in his left knee last August.
However, on Wednesday, Martinez completed a training session with the German champions, before revealing his delight.
"It's just fantastic, I'm overjoyed," he told Bayern's official website. "It's only the first step. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me yet.
"My teammates were cheering and clapping for me. I guess they're all delighted for me. I hope I can pick up a few minutes playing time very soon."
Martinez joined Bayern from Athletic Bilbao in 2012.
