Italian official Nicola Rizzoli will be the referee for Saturday's Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich at Wembley.

The 41-year-old from Modena has officiated in Serie A since 2002 and has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2007.

He has taken charge of four Champions League matches this season, showing 24 yellow cards and one red.

Rizzoli has also sent off four players during his last six Italian league appointments.
