Philipp Lahm has warned Bayern Munich that they must be prepared for a positive approach from Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Despite often being asked to break down stubborn teams due to Pep Guardiola's patient passing style, Lahm believes that the Portuguese side will not be content with adopting a strict defensive plan over the two legs.
"We could have drawn a more uncomfortable opponent, but Porto reached the quarter-finals in convincing style and they showed their quality," the World Cup winner told UEFA.com.
"Porto are a technically strong side, they don't just defend with a deep line but want to take the initiative as well. We will have more possession in both matches, so everything will depend on our performance."
The first leg will take place in Portugal on April 15.
