Jupp Heynckes: Bayern Munich were sensational

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has claimed that his team were "sensational" in their Champions League semi-final victory over Real Madrid.

The Germans booked their place in next month's final through a penalty shootout after a 2-1 win for Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu made it 3-3 on aggregate.

"It was a magical night," said Heynckes. "We were sensational - it is a special victory for Bayern."

The four-time winners take on Chelsea at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, May 19.
