Barrow will be hunting for their third League Two win of the season when they welcome Swindon Town to Holker Street this Saturday.
The Bluebirds are slowly shaking off their poor start to the season, while the Robins are flying high and looking to bag their fourth straight win across all competitions.
Match preview
Barrow did not get off to the best of starts in League Two this season, suffering a couple of early defeats to Chesterfield and MK Dons – both without scoring a single goal.
Things did not get any better in the EFL Cup, with the Bluebirds losing 1-0 at home against Championship side Preston North End.
Barrow eventually made their breakthrough at home against Notts County, winning the match 2-1 thanks to a 97th-minute goal.
A couple of tricky away games followed, with the Bluebirds losing away at Harrogate Town before picking up an impressive 2-0 win at Chesterfield.
Unfortunately for Andy Whing and his men, they failed to back that result up against Fleetwood Town last weekend, losing 1-0 in front of their own fans.
Swindon, on the other hand, have made a strong start to their League Two campaign, picking up 12 points from their opening six games.
The Robins kicked off their season with a 2-1 defeat at Walsall, but they have since gone on a rampage both home and away.
Ian Holloway’s side picked up a 3-2 win over Cambridge United, a 2-1 victory over Oldham Athletic, a 2-1 success over Shrewsbury Town and even a 3-0 thumping of Crewe away from home last weekend.
In fact, since the opening weekend, only Barnet have been able to stop Swindon in the league, with the Robins losing that fixture 2-0 at home.
Nevertheless, having won the joint-most games and scored the joint-most goals in the league, Swindon will be full of confidence as they head into Saturday’s fixture.

Barrow head into the match without the suspended Niall Canavan, who was sent off last weekend against Fleetwood.
Michael Adu Poku and Rekeem Harper have both struggled with hamstring injuries and are expected to miss out.
Isaac Fletcher and MJ Williams are also unlikely to feature as they recover from injuries.
Swindon, on the other hand, are without James Ball and Harry Smith, with both men on the mend from knee injuries.
There are also question marks over the fitness of Tom Nichols, who could remain on the sidelines for Saturday’s match.
Barrow possible starting lineup: Stanway; Shipley, Smith, Raglan; Booty; Earing, Smith, Barkhuizen, Jackson; Walker, Mahoney
Swindon Town possible starting lineup: Ripley; Wilson-Brown, Mabete, Wright; Munroe, Kilkenny, Clarke, Snowdon; Oldaker; Drinan, Glatzel
We say: Barrow 1-2 Swindon Town
Barrow have picked up a couple of important wins in recent weeks, but taking on Swindon is expected to be a tricky challenge.
The Robins are flying high this season, scoring goals for fun across all competitions. With that in mind, we are backing the visitors to take all three points back to Swindon.
