Arda Turan: Transfer rumours are "false"

Arda Turan has insisted that reports claiming he has signed a contract with Barcelona are "false".

The Spanish media has claimed that the Atletico Madrid midfielder has agreed a five-year deal with the La Liga champions.

The Turkish international wrote on Twitter: "There has been a lot of talk about me but the information which has been published is false. I am on holiday, relaxing."

Turan has previously indicated that he has held talks with several clubs over a summer move after admitting that he was looking to leave Atletico.
