Barcelona are reportedly one of a number of clubs interested in signing Fluminense teenager Gerson.
The 17-year-old, who has also been strongly linked with a move to Juventus, is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in South America.
According to various reports, Gerson's father has already met with Juve, but it is understood that Barca are confident of turning the youngster's head.
Globoesporte have reported that Barca officials have already held talks with Gerson's representatives as the race for the Brazilian gathers pace.
As it stands, Barca are unable to sign any new players until January 2016 due to their transfer ban, but can agree terms with the Brazilian club this summer.
