Pedro agrees new Barcelona contract

Barcelona have confirmed that Pedro has agreed to extend his contract with the La Liga giants.

The 27-year-old's current deal was due to expire next summer, but he has now put pen to paper on new three-year terms.

Pedro came through the youth ranks at the club and has helped them to win five La Liga titles and the Champions League twice.

However, there has been speculation that he could leave the Camp Nou and he has made just 15 starts in the league this season due to the arrival of Luis Suarez.

It has also been revealed that the Spanish international's release clause is set at €150m (£110m).
