Oier Olazabel leaves Barcelona for Granada

Granada have signed talented goalkeeper Oier Olazabal on a free transfer from Barcelona.

The 24-year-old, who joined Barcelona in 2007, made two first-team appearances at the Camp Nou, but spent the majority of his time at the club playing with their B team.

"Granada Football Club can report that it has reached an agreement with FC Barcelona for the transfer of Oier Olazabal for four seasons," a statement on Granada's official website read.

"Oier arrives on a free to Granada, but the Blaugrana retain a clause to receive a financial percentage in the case of a future transfer of the goalkeeper."

Oier will battle experienced stopper Roberto for the gloves next season.
